few curious things to note for those who care to read on...

- aside from the bbc, my hotel (the w) has only one other news channel on tv - fox news. no wonder people hate us.
- i've written to many of you about my surprise to find that here cockatoos are pretty much like pigeons.
- koalas sleep around 20 hours a day. they are also unbelievably fucking cute. i've decided that instead of reincarnating as a dog i would now opt for a koala, assuming i have a choice of course.
- did you know that when i call any one of you, dear friends, i am calling you from the FUTURE?

also, here's me getting close to a kangaroo. i got yelled at for this by a stiff zoo lady. whatever, just look at how close i am to that damn thing.
